WAF + reverse authentication against AD + password reset

Hello

We are publishing some services (service1 and service2) through the web application firewall with reverse authentication against activedirectory.

When user A resets his password, we encounter the following problem:

-          If user A logs on to service1 the new password is alwayas valid immediatly

but

-          If user A logs on to service2 the new password sometimes works immediatly and sometimes it takes a long time, until the new password is valid.

The issue always can be solved, if I edit the Users/Groups of the reverse authentication profile in any kind.

What I'm doing wrong? Or is it a bug?

Thanks,

Marco

  • Hello

User A has logon permissions to 6 different webservices published through sophos waf. After password reset he's able to immediatly logon to 5 webservices but not to the 6th . All webservices use the same authentication profile. How is this possible?

    Any idea?

    Regards,

    Marco
