Wsdl reveal webserver's internal IP

Hi Guys

i have an IIS instance running on aws environment using sophos utm 9 (web admin) with public IP assigned to it/

Website has a domain and some of the applications have web services wsdl. All works fine except these wsdl's are showing internal (private IP of the web server) I have moved this IIS instance outside the sophos works fine. So my understanding is that sophos doesnt reverse the dns name, instead returning its webserver's private ip.

Im newbie to Sophos, could somebody share the knowledge as to how this issue can be fixed please?

Thanks in advance.

  • In that case, it sounds like Sophos intends that folks in a similar situation get involved with a reseller that can get the pre-sales engineers to look at a problem.
