Ip Camera Https Reverse proxy?

I have 2 ip cameras at home and they don't support https.  I want to be able to view these cameras external but don't want my creds in plan text.  I was thinking about using the virtual server option.
I have set it up but just can't seem to get auth to to camera.
Has anyone done this before with cameras?

  • MJ, you can configure the Virtual Server for HTTPS and the Real Server for HTTP.  I would suggest using a port other than 443 for the Virtual Server - something like 1443.
