Hi,
Is there a quicker way to replace an expired SSL certificate than the steps below:
-import the new certificate under a new name, overwriting the existing certificate doesn't work. We have a policy that the certificate name in UTM is the common name, but with renewing the cert this is not possible since the old certificate still exists.
- we are using a wildcard certificate, selecting the new certificate on each protected virtual webserver removes the host headers for the existing website and replaces it with the one on the certificate. In case of a wildcard cert it becomes *.domain.com and I have to re-enter the original host headers again.
- after modifying all published sites using the wildcard cert I can remove the expired one.
To be short, this is quite a cumbersome process. Importing and overwriting the existing certificate would be much easier.
Is this possible using the commandline?
Franc.
