Virtual Webserver Domain Issue

Hi Everyone,

We have an issue where our Virtual Webservers don't handle multiple domains on the Virtual Webserver, they only process the top domain.  This means for Virtual Webservers with multiple domains we are having to create multiple Virtual Webservers, one for each domain.

Is this a known bug or something I'm doing wrong?  We are using UTM as a Virtual Appliance with AWS.

    Hi.  I've been running multiple domains on the same virtual server on the Sophos UTM for years without a problem.  I'm currently running firmware 9.111-7.  I've got multiple virtual web servers, some supporting http, some supporting https, and all have been assigned multiple domains, and all domains are accessible. 

    I suspect that your issue is something other than a bug in the UTM.   Are you having problems on a virtual web server that's using HTTPS?  If so, it may be due to an issue with the bindings on the web server.

    When I run into problems like this, I check at multiple levels.  First, some basic questions have to be asked.  Is your web server using multiple IP addresses or a single IP address?  If multiple IP addresses are used, is each domain getting a unique IP address?  Is your web server using private IP addresses or public IP addresses?  What's your web server (IIS, Apache, etc.)?

    One temporary troubleshooting step is to disable the WAF altogether and create NAT rules that pass traffic directly from the Internet to your web server.  Does this have any impact on your problem?
