Foscam Server

Hi,

I'm using version 9.205-12 and I'm trying to set up a Foscam to be visible from outside. I already configured the virtual http server as well as the real webserver in the utm.

Now the webinterface works fine from the internet, but the video/audio stream doesn't. I also configured a WAF exception and set up a new profile without any checks, but still no luck.

This is what I get from the monitoring:

2014:08:13-15:43:27 UTM reverseproxy: id="0299" srcip="109.44.1.198" localip="192.168.1.254" size="51" user="-" host="109.44.1.198" method="GET" statuscode="200" reason="-" extra="-" exceptions="SkipBlacklistDNSRBL, SkipBlacklistGeoIP, SkipAntiVirus, SkipURLHardening, SkipFormHardening, SkipCookieSigning, SkipThreatsFilter_ProtocolViolations, SkipThreatsFilter_ProtocolAnomalies, SkipThreatsFilter_RequestLimits, SkipThreatsFilter_HttpPolicy, SkipThreatsFilter_BadRobots, SkipThreatsFilter_GenericAttacks, SkipThreatsFilter_SqlInjectionAttacks, SkipThreatsFilter_XssAttacks, SkipThreatsFilter_Trojans, SkipThreatsFilter_Outbound" time="67380" url="/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi" server="ei6476.myfoscam.org" referer="-" cookie="-" set-cookie="-"

Does anyone know how to configure this?

  • The DNAT will allow the traffic through before WAF has a chance to grab it, so if you've decided to go that route, you can remove the WAF entry.

Ok, do. you know which Ports are in the Dnat Rule?

My recommendation is, use WAF for the webinterface and the Dnat Rule for the Media Ports.

    That's much more Secure.
