Rewrite to https??

Hi my webserver had a rewrite, where someone going to something like employees.acme.com would get sent to https://employees.acme.com that brought up a different site that was set up for employees.

After trying to run the website through the web-server protection. employees.acme.com now takes them to the main website on port 80. I am able to set up a https virtual server, but the only way to access it is by explicitly typing https in front of the URL string.

Is there a way to rewrite or forward addresses to ssl?

  • NewImage, if I understand your issue, the only place this can be done is on the webserver.
