Webserver Protection - limit IP access

Is there a simple way to limit the IP's that can access a protected web server ?

All the suggestions i found involved convoluted use of NAT and additional IP's.[:@]

Is it possable to just add a FW rule ?[:)]

Hi, diepes, and welcome to the User BB!

The short answer is "No." Remember that WebAdmin maintains the configuration database, and that that database is used to generate the line-by-line firewall rules, etc. that the UTM actually runs. Sorry to resurrect this thread but im just investigating this.

On my existing fwall we have an address object containing a list of public static IP addresses of sites that are allowed to connect to port 80 and upload xml data to the server (in a DMZ).

Is this not possible on my new UTM ?
