Centrally Block URL

Hi Team,

I Just want To centrally block the URL

But it's not getting blocked by the => Additional URLs/sites to block in

Web Security => Web Filtering => URL Filtering

To block one URL , I need to go in to the individual = > Filter Actions

Web Security => Web Filtering Profiles => Filter Actions

I need to use the first option , so i don't need to go in each 60-70 filter action to block single URL

Until, Sophos makes a fundamental change in the way Web Filtering Profiles are configured, you are stuck with making individual changes. If you have a subcategory that's already blocked that the URL might fit, maybe you can get TrustedSource to add it to their categorization.

The first three tabs in Web Filtering are used to define the "Default" profile, so they have no function different from other Profiles you create. The last few tabs do have global significance for the proxy.

Can you guide how can we use this "Default" profile ?

I like to use it as the most-restrictive profile and put it in Transparent mode. Then, if an access doesn't qualify for any other Profile, it will be handled by the Default.
