An Error occurred while handling your request - Host not found

Hi

We have an Astaro FW Model:ASG220 Firmware version:8.300

There are some websites that we are having trouble with. They just times out.

The error message that shown is:  

An error occurred while handling your request: While trying to retrieve url.com: Search with Many

Error message: Host not found.

Been testing a bit, and it seems that the timeout is 60 sec. 

I have just started here, and the other it-guy has left -> and I have never seen a Astaro web interface [:)]

So my question is: Where in Astaro can I manage the timeout frequency on certain web pages (if there is such an option)

I have set the pages that this is a problem with on the "Whtie-List" and tha Astaro box is not suppose to check these - but it does.

    Hi, Narna, and welcome to the User BB!

    You could change the timeout to "never" and that wouldn't help.  It's possible that the site in question does not play well with proxies, or that it doesn't know how to deal with the very slight delay caused by Anti-Virus scanning.  Or, ...

    I'm not sure what you mean by the "White-List" - do you mean that you have 'Allow content that does not match the criteria below' selected and that you have added the URLs in the 'Always allow ...' box?

    Please look in the Web Filtering log and show us the lines where these URLs are blocked.

    Yes. By White-List I mean URL Filtering -> Allow. 

    The url is allso added under the Web Security -> Web Filtering -> Exceptions

    The problem is not that the url is blocked, but rather timed out. 

    We can access them but when we do, the astaro box sends out a times-out after 60 sec.

    Hmm the log you are referring to. Is that under the Logging & Reporting -> Web Securit?
