ASL to Sonicwall NOW IT WORKS!!!!!!

Alright, my config is as follows:

I have a Sonicwall XPRS2 with Static IP and ASL 2.016  with static IP.  My net behind the ASL is 192.168.1.0 /24 and behind the sonicwall is 192.168.10.0 /24.  

The sonicwall is configured with the following settings:

IKE w/ Shared Secret
DH Group 2
IP Sec Gateway: The external IP of ASL
Phase 1:  3DES + MD5
Phase 2:  Strong Encrypt and Authenticate

Click the advanced setting button and select PH 2 DH group as Group 2

Then click add new network, and enter the remote network, in my case 192.168.1.0 /24


Within ASL:

Disable PSF  (Unless you decide to enable it on the Sonicwall too)

Select IKE
Select Secret
Local Interface: External
Local Subnet:  Internal Natted subnet, in my case 192.168.1.0 /24

Remote IP:  Sonicwall's external IP
Remote Subnet:  Sonicwall's LAN subnet, in my case 192.168.10.0 /24


And that's it.  The one thing that prevented this from working in the past was lack of support on SOnicwall's end of DH group 2 and 5.

I've been speaking with our sonicwall technicians who inform me that Sonicwall firmware 6.2.2 is not out yet!

With this in mind, what needs to be done to set a lan-lan tunnel between ASF and Sonicwall???!?!?

Sorry, my bad on that one.  The current firmware is 6.2.0.0  But that version will connect to ASL without a problem!!!!!!!!
