Manually create HA (instead of CloudFormation template) on AWS

Hello,

We already have a VPC setup on AWS with a single UTM instance. We are looking to convert the setup into high availability. Is it possible to do it manually (and add the cold standby instance to the existing VPC) or do we have to use the cloud formation template and setup a completely new stack?

If its possible, can someone direct us to a guide?

You could follow the steps on the following document from page 22nd:

Sophos UTM on AWS Quick Start Guide

Note: "We recommend you run the Conversion utility during a maintenance window as the process will start and stop several services."

I did go over the documentation you have specified (before) but I don't see the HA/Auto-scaling options under Management on my UTM.

Did you already run the conversion from your AWS dashboard?
