Doubt live log firewall

I am doing ping tests sending ICMP packets to google (8.8.8.8) but I do not understand why in the firewall log I can not see any outgoing packets, only packets dropped I do not understand why they are being generated.

    There is a section under network protect > Firewall > ICMP. In there is has logging settings for ICMP. Sometimes you are better disabling the settings in there and putting a rule into the FW rules with logging enabled.

    Off the top of my head, I think it only shows the first packet being denied. If you really want to see it hitting the FW, use the CLI and tcpdump
