thanks for the help but like i said, i cant uninstall it because i do not have the password for the Manipulation Protection which is needed to uninstall the "SEP".

When i try to uninstall it there allways appears a popup windows which says i have to deactivate the Mani´pulation protection first.

I found a solution,

just reinstall the Sophos Endpoint Protection client from another Sophos UTM Installation (with a temper protection password you know) and then you can remove the AV.

Wolfgang, the first article listed, How to remove Sophos Endpoint Security and Control from client computers, explains how to remove Endpoint manually, without the password.  Your trick may be faster.

im sorry but i have to tell you that you are wrong.

The first point in the article says it allready.

Prerequisites

• We highly recommended that you close down any open applications on the computer before proceeding
• Check and ensure that Tamper Protection is disabled.

So it wont work at all :(

Without deactivated Tamper Protection you cant uninstall it, and without the password you cant deactivate the Tamper Protection in my case.

Ah, you're right, that's not the article I thought it was.  I developed a batch file two years ago for a customer that wanted to switch from UTM Endpoint to Cloud Endpoint on his Win7 machines.  I thought that first article was the one that discussed this technique.  The batch file does not care if Tamper Protection is disabled.

What I was thinking of was How to uninstall Sophos Endpoint Security and Control from the command line or with a batch file, updated two months after the article I mistakenly pointed to.

does it realy not care? Because i found this in the article.

"Note: If enabled, the Sophos Tamper Protection policy must be disabled on the endpoints involved before attempting to uninstall any component of Sophos Endpoint Security and Control.  See article 119175 for more information."

Do you have the batchfile you created? Or did you just follow the instruction in this article?
