my internet is throttled down through sophos

I have time warner 25/3 when i goto internet speed test i can pull at the max 18.3/3.4  44ms when i bypass the sophos i can pull 26.2/3.4 19ms i called time warner and they said is was on our side that is causing the issues most likely the sophos, i went into interfaces and QOS and i have nothing checked or applied. i have the sophos , 48port  1GB hp procurve then end point devices. can you guys help me out with this?

    Hi, Matthew, and welcome to the UTM Community!

    Thanks to a suggestion by fellow member WayneBoyles several weeks ago, I put together the following test to see if the issue is Intrusion Prevention.  It also will tell us if we get full speed from the WAN connection through the UTM's NIC.  First with IPS off, and then with it on - copy and paste this as root at the command line:

    cd /home
    wget raw.githubusercontent.com/.../speedtest_cli.py --no-check-certificate
    cc set ips status 0
    sleep 30s
    python speedtest_cli.py
    cc set ips status 1
    sleep 60s
    python speedtest_cli.py

    Please share your results.
