Sophos AV vs Avast Pro

Hi,

Right now we use avast at our servers and workstations but the license is about to end in two months.

We are thinking about changing to Sophos client deployed using out UTM SG 125.

Opinions about this movement?

You'd do best by taking a look at some unbiased reviews done by tech magazines and places like av-test.org.

Hi,

I´ve read some post about comparision between them.. and also my partnet told me that Sophos is working on Cloud Software and not on agents deployed from UTM.

Is this correct?

Yes, the cloud based AV is coming in the product that will be replacing UTM, code name Copernicus, which is currently in late beta. See https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/67/t/58192
