Ethernet and VLAN on the same interface

Is it possible to have a standard Ethernet interface and a VLAN interface on the the same physical Ethernet port on the SG230 running UTM 9.508-10.  The interface started as a standard Ethernet connection on one network and we are needing to expand into VLANs for address space.  I have added a new interface to the physical Ethernet port as a VLAN and set up the TAG ID with a separate network.  I have configured the network switches with trunk ports to handled the VLAN traffic.  All of the traffic on the "Ethernet" network is working fine, but the VLAN traffic does not seem to be making it across.  Both interfaces show up on on the dashboards, and all of the DHCP, DNS, NAT, Masquerading and Firewall rules have been set up to match the "Ethernet" interface.  I can communicate between devices on the VLAN across all the switches, just not out to the network.
