Last WebAdmin Entries not Showing

We are not seeing this behaviour.

Syuusuke, I've seen that before.  Sometimes, an Up2Date will destroy that database.  If this is a paid license, you should have your reseller get Sophos Support involved.  Or, to re-initialize the reporting database (deletes all data)

If I re-initialize the reporting database, you mean all the logs and graphs? holy ****.

Yes, if you run that command, it'll clear the reporting database, so you'll be starting from fresh with the reporting and graphs, but it will NOT affect the logs.  Again, you will still have the raw historical log data to reference.

Thanks for the fast response and apologies for my dirty mouth.  I'll wash it with soap now.

I just tried running the "/etc/init.d/postgresql92 rebuild" command and it completed successfully.  But for some reason, the webadmin entries still do not show up at all.  Am I suppose to wait for at least 24 hours or something?  Or does running this command a hit-or-miss kind of fix?

Sorry, I wasn't even thinking before.  I just answered the question in the last post, without scrolling up to see what the original issue was.  Now this may have changed in 9.2x or 9.3X, but the Last Sessions info used to come straight from the Configuration Daemon log.  If it isn't displaying, then it would indicate bad data in the log making it unreadable.

Go to Logging & Reporting > View Log Files > Today's Log Files and Clear the Configuration Daemon log.  This will erase that one log for today.  Then log out of WebAdmin then back in.  See if that helps.

Edit:  The information now comes from a table in the reporting database, so the rebuild command should have cleared it.  Maybe try a reboot to reinitialize everything.  After doing so, try changing a couple of things in webadmin (create a host, then delete it sort of stuff) to populate some change info into the log.  This should then be read into the database.  Previous logs will not be looked at, only new information since the rebuild will go into the database then show up

I just tried rebooting it after doing the rebuild command.  Still nothing shows up.  I do see logs from today in the Configuration Daemon log though when I make changes.  It just won't show up in the webadmin panel.

Any other ideas?

Sophos support just asked me to update to 9.308 and see if it will fix things and if not, reflash the UTM from scratch again [:(]

I haven't looked in depth at the newer versions of UTM.  Does this return anything at all?  Anything interesting or anomalous?

There are more facility types that may be of interest.

On the one unit I manage that was not fixed with the rebuild command, teched's command returns a result with nothing other than the column titles.
