Patterns are not on the actual level

Hi,

I'm new to ASG and have the following question. Our system has firmware 7.300 and under Management -> Up2Date -> Pattern you can see the following versions:

Current pattern version:  8188
Latest available pattern version:  8226

How long dows it take to bring them on the same level?

In /etc/up2date

# cat up2date_status
$VAR1 = {
          'downloaded_sys_version_max_int' => 7300,
          'status' => 0,
          'remote_sys_version_max' => 0,
          'last_local_check' => 1220273281,
          'downloaded_gpv_version' => '8188',
          'need_download' => 0,
          'downloaded_sys_version_max' => '7.300',
          'remote_sys_pkgs_int' => 0,
          'downloaded_sys_pkgs_int' => 0,
          'installed_sys_version_int' => 7300,
          'remote_gpv_version' => '8226',
          'downloaded_sys_pkgs_desc' => {},
          'last_remote_check' => 1220273167,
          'installed_sys_version' => '7.300',
          'installed_gpv_version' => '8188',
          'remote_sys_version_max_int' => 0,
          'need_install' => 0
        };

BTW: We don't have licenses for Proxies, Antiv-Virus, -Spam or so, only for Firewall and Intrusion Protection. Is that the reason for the version mismatch?

I just want to be sure that the automatic update mechanism is working fine.

Thanks and Regards

    The only thing that will update on your system will be IPS signatures, so it will frequently show large gaps between the "latest" and your pattern.  Both of the anti-virus engines have updated several times since the last IPS update, so your situation seems normal.
