New hardware

Is here anyone in the forum, who has bought hardware in 2008 and than has installed Astaro succesfully on it? I would interesting in details of this hardware.

  • hp dl380 g5 w/ dualproc, 4gb ram, 2x146gb sas in hp raid1

    oversized for 100 users (full licensed) but runs very well!

  • Thank you for the information, Andre. Do you use an E200i or an P400i as RAID-Controller. And whats about the processor? Depends the compatibility to Astaro on it or can I take what ever I get?

    It seems the HP DL 360 G5 is the most recommended system for Astaro, did anyone knew an actual system, that is smaller sized?

  • We build some custom systems for use in specialized situations; as long as we stick to chipsets, NICs, etc. that are in the HCL we don't have any problems.
