Wondering if filter rules could include the option a the source and or destination NIC. I have a 3rd NIC that will support computers that shouldn't have free access to my internal net, I want to allow outbound connections to the internet but not as open to my internal net.
The destination "any" is needed for the internet but I don't want that to include my internal net. I could place a filter before this one that denies destination of my internal net. But the help screen suggests that changing the order of rules doesn't reflect the actual rules order in use. It would be painful to redo the rules each time just to be sure they act as listed. Do the rules act as listed or is the help screen correct?
