Suggestion: Use of -mac-source in iptables ?

Hi,

is there any possibility in the future to make a implementation of -mac-source in restrictions on who that are allowed to get access to ssh and https on my firewall-box ? I prefer rather to use mac-source in my filter than ip-numbers, first of all because I'd like (also) to manage my firewall from internet without to give any other access to these ports. (Can't use ip-numbers because my ISP use DHCP  [;)] )

    You can't use MAC address either to authenticate. Its Long and technical story. I tried to write why but can't put it up in words  [;)]

    Just use some kind of VPN solution. I think its not yet possible to connect with roadwarrior clients to ASL (Still waiting for this  [:)]

    Until then may ask your ISP to provide you VPN service. My ISP provided me a VPN service. Now i have IPSec tunnel to ISP's network and from there I get static IP address i can trust in my ASL box.
