saving rules upon installation asl 1790

Hi!
How do I preserve the rules I wrote for an earlier version when I download and install asl 1790 version?
Is there some way of storing them somewhere/way? Saving just the html-page is not appropriate, since it only saves the page itself. Building another rule seems a lot of work again to me.

    You could always try backing up the settings and then restoring to the new FW using the facility built into the web front end just for that purpose.
