Squid Usage

Hi again,

Do you have an updated timeframe for the release of the module to provide statistics on squid usage by user ?

Could someone give me some more information on connecting Astaro with an NT Domain for user authentication ?  How does this compare with windows machines connecting to a Microsoft Proxy Server from Internet Explorer ?

    The effect of squid auth is that the client must submit his username and password each time he starts his browser (new windows of the same browser are not affected). The browser caches the username/password until it closes, in IE it is possible to save the password. Username and password can be checked directly against your NT domain, so there is no need to re-register any user names.
    I cannot answer the question on how this compares to a Microsoft Proxy Server, since I have never seen one (and never wanted to)  [;)]
