NAT on dynamic ip ! ! !

During my testing, I've encountered a dead end.  I am on cable modem and my ip is dynamic (dhcp).  Since I just finish configuring dhcp with success on my Astaro box, I wanted it to NAT SMTP request from the NET to my mail server which is on a private ip range (10.0.0.1).  I figure how to do it but the rules are bind to static ip's ! ! !

I know that Astaro peoples are working on releasing an up2date with dhcp built in sometime soon, but have you tought of this situation ?  The same problem arise for other services like WWW.

If I am not right, please let me know.

    I don't see a problem with static internal IP#'s but I'm thinking updating netzkartendata isn't enough. Doesn't the External_NIC/IP you define (for NAT) in Definitions -> Networks also need to be updated?

    Yes,

    I'va managed to update the entries in netkartendata.  But I was looking for the files that holds the static entries.  I found it, it's in /etc/wfe/conf/netdata.

    So, writing a script that will update a particular line or lines in this file when there are change in the ip from the dhcp is all that need's to be done for dynamic NAT to work I think ! ! !
