pppoe

I'm testing astaro with a 100+ node network and it works great! I know you are just starting to look at dhcp, but I would love to see pppoe support. I'd like to use Astaro with my DSL customers, but a lot of providers in the US use pppoe. It uses a virtual interface to establish an "oE" layer 2 session with a gateway, then regular ppp rides on top. There is a good linux implementation at http://www.roaringpenguin.com/pppoe/

What do you think? Any time soon?

pppoe is already done, the only thing missing is the GUI ...

our releaseplan says it will come in february [:)]

In your reply, you say that pppoe is already done. Can we use it now or do we have to wait for the GUI to be modified.

If we can do it now, can you describe how?

Can we try the version (properly beta) without the GUI? pppoe shouldn't be too difficult to configure if it doesn't differ too much from what the other distributions use i.e. rp-pppoe. I am willing to try it without the GUI and migrate to the full version at a later date.
