Thanks Astaro.
Astaro Security Linux is a very polished, clean and powerful product, very impressive.. thanks again.
We have some small questions:
1. what does 'not all source is open' mean for us (the people downloading the iso, installing and using Astaro Security Linux)
a. is there any cost now or in the future for using Astaro Security Linux ?
b. what are your support plans ( and costs?) (other than this excellent forum)?
We don't expect it to be free, just won't to understand the picture.
2. if the where are more interfaces ( eg a dmz1 etc) could your kernal support shaping eg limit the bandwith (in and out) to say 512k or 1024k or whatever for a host/network? it be very usefull (we stream some student radio stations!)
3. I haven't tryed (lazy i know) but would any 'standard' ISA video cards work? oh and last thing: have you tryed any of the multi port ethernet cards, any joy?
I have looked though most of the topics for above, I hope I'm not asking double-ups, sorry if thats the case.
thankyou again for the effort.. very cool.
