application support

  I am currently using another linux based firewall solution.  Yours sounds promising,  but I can't find a list on your web site of applications that are supported.  Like ICQ, MSN quake, and so on.. Is there one, am I just not finding it.

    we actually support nearly every application that uses TCP/IP Protocol.
    Yes we support ICQ, yes we support Quake.

    We have predefined some services in our GUI. If something is missing, you can add it yourself easily.

    If don't know which port and protocol an application needs, just look an any linux system under /etc/services or check the packetfilter violation log under -Reports -Filer and see what port and protocol has been blocked. Define a new service and a rule with that service and you are ready to use this application.

    Putting up a website with a list of all services we support is a good idea. We will add something like that in the future.

    If you have a question supporting a specific service, don't hesitate to ask.
