Support for more NIC´s

The AMD PCNet32 would be nice, as it would let me try it out on a VMWare virtual machine--I don't have a spare physical machine to test on at the moment...

I second that.   I was trying to use vmware as well..  the AMD pcnet32 would be very nice.

whats the configname (make menuconfig -> network device support) or modulename (___.o) for this card? (cant find it)...

in RH it's pcnet32.o

pcnet32.o is still included...

what says cat /proc/pci on VMWare? Is there a ethernet controller?? (we need this for autodetect the hardware/ethernet controller)
