Adaptec SCSI Support?

How soon are you guys/gals going to include some SCSI HD support?  I've got an onboard Adaptec controller and a SCSI drive and it seems that I'm out of luck!  [:O]
I'd love to try out your product (I was just about to setup a firewall for myself and I noticed your product on Freshmeat), but it seems that I can't yet  [:(]

    That I was wondering, too ... just wanted to try it quickly on an NCR w/2G HD ... should be possible to put the SCSI modules on there and scan them just as you do the network drivers ... anyway, seems to be a great package!

    hi dudes,

    first statement: not this year we will support scsi
    its because we have a lot of other cool feature to realize.

    does anybody know a good database for scsi-detection? neither the driver nor the implenation is the problem, its the secure auto-detection at this time.

    Oh ok, I was under the impression that SCSI support wouldn't be too hard...  Couldn't SCSI support be compiled into the kernel (as a module?) and then depending on which devices are present, give the user the option of which drive to install the OS on? (or even just pick the first one it finds?)

    I'm going to ask my boss if he's willing to put an IDE drive into the VALinux box we just purchased w/SCSI...  Hopefully he doesn't mind!  

    For businesses that would be paying you money for support (is that how you will be gaining profitability from this product?), wouldn't you think that a great deal of them will be implementing your firewall solution with a SCSI hard drive?
