AP6 420 - Unable to create mesh network

Hi all,

I have 3 AP6 420 APs. One of the APs cannot be connected via cable so I am trying to create a mesh network. Correct, right?

All 3 APs have 2,4 and 5 GHz available.

When choosing "mesh" in Central WLAN Wizard I have to choose either 2,4 or 5 GHz to get my APs available on next page.

After chossing all APs for my Mesh network I need to choose a root AP but the following error occures:

Root AP needs to have 2 Frequencies and a SSID assigned.

OK. I Assigned a SSID "Client" to the root AP. Creating a mesh is then possible (called mesh).

Then I tried to join the other 2 APs to the first created SSID. Doesn't work because the APs have a mesh network attached.

How to solve that.

In general I understand: I need a mesh network to let the APs talk to each other without cable connection. I need other SSIDs for my clients to connect.

But I am unable to configure both...

Any hints?

Thnks

Gernot
