Sophos APX BLE - What is it for

Random question really, but I have noticed that the APX series and AP6 series all seem to have BLE within the APs.

Does anyone know what this is intended for?

APX has BLE, AP6 does not support BLE. It was simply included for future features but never was utilize. So it was dropped for AP6.

Thanks, I was wondering about the possibility to utilise it to trigger proximity detection events on the phone for some automations, but oh well!
