Different range for the APX models ?

I would like to know whether, for example, a Sophos APX 740 can broadcast a greater range or transmission range than, say, an APX 120 or 320.

Hi,

Yes, while the primary advantage of having 4x4 (740) over 3x3 (530) is related to the performance, the extra antenna chain does increase the transmission range marginally.

Thanks for the info.

So the larger APXs are mainly for the higher bandwidths and the additional antennas offer a better WLAN signaling in case of interference sources than the APs with less antennas
