Hello everyone,
I am looking for some advice on how to set up my network so I can add additional APs without having them directly plugged into the XG. A rough network diagram is below.
My current setup is:
2 AP100Cs connected directly to the XG310 that has multiple SSIDs and are all "Separate zones"
The internal network is using a level 3 switch that has IP routing enabled with different VLANs and a DHCP server that handles the IPs for the internal traffic.
On the XG I have a firewall rule to allow the traffic of the internal SSID to get to the L3 switch.
If I plug in additional APs to the switches with the SSIDs being Separate Zones will this create a tunnel to the XG and just work or do I need to set up VLANs so it routes the guest traffic separately from the internal traffic? What would be the best way of setting this up so that it is scalable in the future?
Thank you in advance to any suggestions
