Overview:

I've used the Verizon guide to configure the T-Mobile settings by simply adding the proper APN settings to match the carrier. This will work fine if you have a regular IP address but if you decide to upgrade to a static one, T-Mobile won't tell you that the APN will also have to be modified and your service will stop working.

Configuration

To setup access with T-Mobile, Follow the Verizon guide and only update the following APN settings as needed:

If you have a static IP, Add this APN to the settings: b2b.static

If you have a dhcp assigned IP, Add this APN to the settings: fast.t-mobile.com

Parameter Value
IP Assignment Dial-Up (PPP)
Connect Auto (recommended). May be set to Manual if desired.
Modem Port Serial 2
Phone Number *99#
APN b2b.static (static) or fast.t-mobile.com (dhcp)
Initialization String Do not enter an Initialization String.
