Correct activation of UTM subscriptions

Hello.

Our company has installed a trial version of sophos utm. 

Later we bought a license.  How to properly activate the purchased license?

I tried to install the license file , but the ability to cease all settings. 

And the second question.  

How to properly renew a paid license?

How to activate a license that it is transparent to users , who use the enterprise services?

Is there a step by step guide ?

    Hi Alex,

    When you purchased the license did you include the free trial serial number on the order? If you didn't then we would have generated a new Serial number and attached the Base Firewall license to that. Assuming we generated a new serial number then the options are a) backup your config, fresh install using the new serial number, restore from backup, or, b) request your order is credited and re-booked giving the original free trial serial that you want to continue using.

    Not sure what you mean by "install the license file" - there are no license files with XG.

    When renewing an XG paid-for license you need to provide the Serial Number on the order in the same way as you would have previously provided the license ID or license number for SG (UTM 9.X).

    How to activate the license that is transparent to users? If you mean literally the license then you can activate license keys in MySophos assuming you are the registrant. If you are not the registrant but are the Sophos partner that bought the license from the Distributor then you should be able to see the license in the partner portal devices and licenses section. From there you should be able to find the newly purchased license and activate it on a given Serial.
