Unable to setup WAN port

Hello all, I am trying to get XG Firewall for VMWare installed first using VI-SFOS_15.01.0.VMW-376 (then I'll try to ISO for Intel hardware) on ESXi 6.  Previous experience is a number of UTM 9 installs that went pretty well so I thought I would try the new SXGFW.  I have to say that it has NOT be smooth sailing.  First I was stuck in an activation loop that would not fully activate/register/sync/craziness.  Not sure why just not have ONE function that takes care of everything you need.  Could not get anywhere so removed the VM and reinstalled.  After a few more re-deployments of the OVF file for one reason or another (admin page not working or admin account would not work despite NO pw changes, etc....) I finally got to the initial setup.

Which is a bit of a pain b/c I just have one entry for "BRIDGED NETWORK"  (it does see three NICS).  But for the life of me I can't get the WAN (doesn't matter if I select A or B as the WAN) to pick up an IP address from my provider.  It DOES get an IP addy from my internal DHCS.  Needless to say the Gateway is down and I don't get any internet.

I have to say this is the exact opposite of my previous experiences with UTM 9.  I was able to get that installed in places that pfSense wouldn't (Barracuda Web Filter 300) and despite not being the most intuitive I at least got it connected to my internet provider very quickly.  This time it's pfSense that is up and running without any serious effort and the Sophos product that is giving me fits.

At this point I have no idea how to let this see the WAN.
