I have a Cyberoam UTM running XG Firewall V15.01. Authentication is via Radius SSO transparent with the client installed on the PC's. The issue is each user is automatically dropped and re-authenticated every 3 minutes. This has an effect on users logged onto web based portals.

I have set this to 360 minutes some time ago but browser clients still authenticate every 3 minutes

Can you please share what is the settings of maximum session timeout there ?
This has been set to 30 minutes for some time
