Issues with traffic passing from site to site VPN. between UTM and XG

I have sucessfully set up a L2L vpn between these 2 appliances, and have done so before between 2 UTM's using the automatic firewall rules.  Both sides agree that the tunnel is up but cannot ping either side or access internal resources.
