  • I just got off a call (literally just hung up) with our Partner rep and the next release is on track for March according to them.
  • That's just amazing to me, They released a product not ready for prime time and the update has now been pushed from Jan to March. What next?
  • No kidding. There are major things that should have been included before GA of this release, I think they were way to fast to get it out the door. I do like the product and I'm using here at home but there's no way as a business I could recommend an XG product in it's current state. We're sticking with the UTM for now.
  • Yup, They where trigger happy with getting this out the door for sure. Sophos does not think so but they did. Like you I am using it at home but would never think about installing this in its current state for a business. Even if we forget about the major things that should be included even the simple things are not included like being able to click on a device that has a dynamic IP and have it add the device to the static DHCP list and automatically create a 'IP Host' for that device. Right now this is a completely manual process, What BS.
