XG Firewall Home Edition CPU throttling

Seems like the CPU is always on it's maximum speed (Intel Core2Duo 6400 has a max of 2.13 Ghz), which is be visible via "# cat /proc/cpuinfo".  Doesn't the CPU throttle when the CPU load is low (currently at 5%)?  Can this setting be edited via the Administrator GUI or do we need to "hack it out" via the web terminal?

  • There is another thread here which may have the same root cause. A guy said he has problems with custom machine going to sleep which leads to a suspicion that SFOS is not correctly handling ACPI events. I guess this is why CPU stays at one speed. I have checked mine and it clocks 2Ghz which is max for my CPU: Celeron J1900.
