I'm unable to connect as I can't set the IP address as explained for ESX(i). Any suggestions?

Thanks for your suggestions. I got it running now. Solution was a bit similar to Nemo, maybe Slawskis would also work out, Slawskis brought me the right way. DHCP on the interface, also if it's the private one, result in getting problems with the setup. I was able to find something similar to vmnetcfg.exe in VMware Fusion, I was able to set up my own network vmnet2 with own settings, so I disabled DHCP there and separated it from my computer (host) and lan network. With another virtual machine on vmnet2, running however Windows 10, leading me in additional issues, as this machine than needs to DHCP the address on vmnet2 from the new running SFOS machine, manual setting to 172.16.16.2 failed, I was now able to get further.
