Per Admin User Security Policy?

Question. I have a need to have Admin User who can only modify a certain subset of Security Polices. Think "hosted firewall" in front of another "hosted" service. I have been digging and readying and can not quite seem to do this with the XG series. Just looking for some confirmation or ideas on how to accomplish.

Thanks!!

  • Hi JimDeVito,

You can create a new administrator profile, which does allow for control of most categories (ie. VPN, Objects, Wireless Protection: APs, etc.) but Security Policies is not expandable. You can take a look at what configuration access control is available under Objects > Policies > Device Access > Add Profile to see all the configurable sections (Read-only/read-write/No access)
