No access to Sophos XGS

Hello everyone,

I have registered a new firewall in Sophos Central, just as I have done countless times before. However, with this firewall, I am facing the issue that I cannot access it. Every time I try, I get the following message:

"FIREWALL SESSION ENDED
A management session to your firewall ended before expected.
You may safely close this page.

This is not an indication of a problem.
Possible Causes:

  • Session timed out
  • Firewall Rebooted
  • Second WebAdmin session started in another window"

I am unable to access the firewall either locally or through Sophos Central. I do have SSH access. I have already restarted the firewall, turned it off, waited a bit, and then turned it back on.
I have also completely reset the firewall and reinstalled the configuration via USB stick – but I keep receiving this message and am slowly getting a bit desperate.

It is a Sophos XGS107, Version SFOS21.0.0 GA-Build169.

How can I solve this issue and regain access?
