Multiple Email Addresses for local users on XGS firewall

Hello community,

I am currently working on a SG to XGS migration for one of our customers.

The customer had a bunch of local firewall users. Many users have alias email addresses configured on the SG firewall.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how to add these alias addresses to the XGS firewall.

My first guess would be to just add the email addresses with a comma in the email field, but I am not sure whether that's the right way.

Furthermore, it would be interesting to know if the user can then see all of the email traffic form the alias addresses in their email protocol in the userportal.

Thank you in advance for your insight.

Best regards,

Luis

  • SFOS Email Protection is an additional service, as you have to purchase it additionally.

Therefore, while purchasing / migrating a UTM to SFOS Migration, you can also replace SFOS Email Protection with CEMA instead, which makes the implemention much easier and enhances the email protection of the customers compared to UTM by a lot of new features.
