I am about to install Sophos Firewall Home Edition v19.5 on the HP T730 ThinClient barebone x86 desktop installed with a 4-port FastLinQ QL41134HLRJ 10Gbe NIC. The NIC sports a Cavium DPDK high-speed packet processing engine.
As handling 40 Gbps without some offloading algorithm like DPDK can be very chllenging for CPU, even with the latest-gen ones, so does Sophos Firewall Home work with the FastLinQ QL41134HLRJ out of the box ?
In addition, do I have to configure anything in order to make Sophos Firewall Home Edition work with the DPDK chip inside the FastLinQ NIC, or has DPDK been support by Sophos Firewall by default ?
