 Below may help you to understand the difference between shared and individual. 
 Sophos Firewall: How to Configure QoS and understanding the conceptual difference between the shared and individual 
 The configuration is pretty straight forward. Configure the QoS policy. Select the type as rules and later this can be applied to the LAN to WAN firewall which is created for the network.
