Sophos PPPoE wrong credentials

Hello,

We have switched from an XG to an XGS with backup/restore. A WAN connection works via PPPoE. This runs smoothly on the old XG. However, after we put the XGS into operation, the Internet connection did not come online and there was an error message that the credentials were incorrect. Are the credentials not applied correctly during the restore or do I have to enter them again?

They should be covered by the Backup, if you used the SSMK.

Do you have a long username?

Does it work after entering the PW again?

the username has 40 characters

unfortunately we were able to enter a new password. Unfortunately, We did not have the data for the last test.

What do you mean? Does it work after enter the PW?

I wanted to write that unfortunately we have not yet been able to enter the password because we do not yet have the data.
