Sophos XGS Site-To-Site SSL VPN will not auto connect after reboot

Hi,

We have a Sophos XGS 107 (Client) connecting to another unit XGS 2100 (Server) via Site-To-Site SSL VPN.

We noticed the Site-to-Site SSL VPN will not auto connect after the Client unit get restarted

When it happened, we manually on/off the SSL VPN at Client unit to initiate the dial.

Unfortunately the VPN logs does not show anything about whether it try to auto dial.

Hope someone can help.

Hi, from the log,

VPN	2024-03-26 17:53:16	SSL VPN	Established	-	SSL VPN Site to site connection 'VPN_HQ_SSL' established	17824
VPN	2024-03-20 08:43:20	SSL VPN	Established	-	SSL VPN Site to site connection 'VPN_HQ_SSL' established	17824

sometime around 16:00, there was a power disruption and then power restored at 17:30. We manually on/off the site to site SSL VPN, and that is at around 17:53 recorded above.

For Site-To-Site SSL VPN, we can't find anything on Auto-Connect Settings. Can confirm?

As far as I know there no settings available for auto-connect to enable to disable.

Since when you starting facing issue with SSL site to site ? it was working earlier ? Share the current firmware version of the firewalls

I would suggest IPSec site-to-site instead of SSLVPN site-to-site
