Very slow web admin access from RED network

Hello everyone,
I have a central xgs 2100 firewall with 5 RED devices connected.
When I am in one of the networks managed by a RED and I have to access the firewall's web admin, the connection to the web admin is excessively slow and impossible to use.
Have you experienced a problem like this? Currently I have to connect to VPN otherwise it's impossible.

  • Is the connection slow only when accessing the admin interface, or is all traffic on the red interface slow as well? Among the first things I would check in case of a slow or unstable connection are: 1) DNS settings (are you using the correct DNS Servers), 2) MTU settings (Depending on your infrastructure, you might have to reduce the MTU on your RED Interface), and 3) Running Wireshark to observe the traffic and watch for any bigger time gaps or strange behavior.

  • it is slow only towards the FW admin interface https://192.168.0.254:4444
All other traffic to the 192.168.0.0/24 network is fast.
The DNS has little relevance because I go directly with the IP.
The RED network is a very stable 1000/1000 fibre.
I'll do some checking with wireshark
